These Terms form part of every Immaculate Exteriors quotation issued through Jobber. Accepting the quotation means accepting these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Definitions
- Client / you / your: the person or entity that accepts our quotation.
- We / us / our: Immaculate Exteriors.
- Services: the pressure cleaning, soft washing, sealing and related work described in the quotation.
- Site: the location where the Services are performed.
- Price: the quoted amount for the Services.
2. Quotations, formation and cancellation
- Each quotation is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued. After that, prices may change.
- All quotations must be approved before work is scheduled. We do not book a start date until the quotation has been accepted.
- Accepting the quotation creates a binding contract.
- If you cancel after a mutually agreed start date, we may retain up to 20% of the Price to cover scheduling, mobilisation and administration costs.
3. Pricing, payment and GST
- Residential work: the full Price is due on the day of completion.
- Strata and commercial work: invoices are due 14 days from issue unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- GST: we are not currently registered for GST, so no GST is payable. If we register before completion, GST will be added and a tax invoice issued showing the GST component.
- Late payment: overdue balances may incur a $25 admin fee and interest at 1.5% per month (0.0493% per day, 18% per year) on the outstanding amount. All reasonable recovery costs (legal, collection and similar) are payable by you on an indemnity basis.
- Payment must not be withheld or reduced because of a damage claim while that claim is being assessed under section 8.
We may waive any fee in these Terms at our discretion as a gesture of goodwill.
4. Site-related fees
- $95 call-out fee: if we attend but cannot start because of no access, inadequate water or power, or an unprepared Site.
- $95 warranty call-out: if we attend for a warranty concern that is not caused by our workmanship or products.
- $75 reschedule fee: for changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice, unless caused by force majeure or by us.
- $500 animal waste surcharge: the work area, including lawns and surrounds, must be free of dog and other animal faeces. If it is not, a $500 surcharge applies to cover decontaminating our hoses, surface cleaners and equipment, or we may decline to start and charge the call-out fee.
- $3,000 per day water surcharge: where no on-site water is available and we supply water by water cart or an authorised hydrant (see section 6).
- Moving items: if clearing furniture, pots, vehicles or other items takes more than 30 minutes, the extra labour is billed at $80 per hour.
5. Licensing and insurance
We hold current public liability insurance. A certificate of currency is available to clients on request. Where licensed trades are required, we engage suitably licensed and insured subcontractors and remain responsible for their work.
6. Site access and conditions
- Water: provide a working outdoor tap with a minimum flow rate of 18 litres per minute, in line with the supply standards of Sydney Water or your local water authority. If the supply is below this, the work may take longer, we may need to bring water at extra cost, or we may be unable to start (see the call-out fee in section 4).
- No on-site water: if no on-site water is provided, or using it is not possible, we reserve the right, where practical, to supply water by water cart or from an auxiliary access point such as an authorised hydrant. A water surcharge of $3,000 per day applies to cover this. We will notify you before proceeding, and we can organise the water supply on your behalf.
- Power: provide an RCD-protected power outlet within 30 metres of the work area, unless arranged otherwise.
- Safety: keep children, pets and bystanders away from the work area during the work and for 24 hours after.
- Moveable items: clear furniture, pots, vehicles and similar items before we arrive.
- Windows and openings: close all windows, doors and vents near the work area.
7. Pre-existing conditions
Before work starts you must tell us about any known defects, recent repairs, or surfaces that are fragile, loose or sensitive to water.
We may photograph and video the Site before starting. These records show the condition of the Site before the Services and may be relied on by both parties if a claim is made.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage, loss or defects arising from, including without limitation:
- loose or defective materials, rotten timber, friable or failing mortar and grout, drummy or cracked tiles, and faded, oxidised, chalking or failing paint, render, coatings or sealers;
- water ingress through unsealed or poorly sealed windows, doors, vents, roof penetrations or fittings;
- any area of the property that is not structurally sound or weather-tight;
- defects that existed before the Services but were hidden by dirt, mould, moss or staining and became visible after cleaning;
- staining that cannot be removed by cleaning, such as rust, oil, paint, tannin, efflorescence, etching or old sealer residue, where we told you before or during the job that full removal was unlikely;
- damage caused by information you did not give us, such as undisclosed recent repairs or concealed services.
8. Claims of damage
If you believe the Services caused damage:
- Notify us in writing within 48 hours of completion, with clear photos of the area.
- Allow us reasonable access to inspect the area before any repair or replacement is arranged. We are not responsible for repair costs you incur without first giving us this opportunity, except in an emergency.
- We will assess the claim against our before-work records and respond within a reasonable time.
- Where we are responsible, we will choose to repair the damage, re-perform the Services or refund the relevant part of the Price, subject to your rights under the ACL.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the Price of the Services.
9. Warranty and performance
- Workmanship: 30 days for cleaning and 90 days for sealant application.
- Products: we do not extend any product warranty beyond the warranty offered by the product’s manufacturer. Product warranties are limited to the manufacturer’s terms.
- Coatings over existing coatings: where a sealer, paint or other coating is applied over an existing coating, we cannot warrant the result unless the surface has first been ground back to the bare substrate. We cannot know whether the previous coating was applied correctly or what condition it is in, so its adhesion, appearance and durability are not warranted in these cases.
- Oil contamination: we do not offer any product warranty for coatings applied to areas where oil or similar contaminants are present, because they can stop the coating bonding to the surface.
- The warranty is void where problems arise from misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or third-party interference after the Services.
- Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Delays
We aim to meet estimated dates but are not liable for delays caused by weather, safety issues, supplier delays or other events beyond our control. We will notify you promptly and reschedule.
11. Work health and safety
We comply with all WHS laws and with any reasonable site-specific requirements agreed in advance. A Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is available on request.
12. Photos and marketing
You authorise us to take before and after photos and videos for quality control, evidence and marketing, unless you tell us in writing before work starts that you do not want them used publicly. In public use we never show your street number, number plates or other identifying features, and we do not publish your address. See our Privacy Policy.
13. Privacy
We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
14. Dispute resolution
Both parties will negotiate in good faith. Unresolved disputes may be referred to NSW Fair Trading or the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT).
15. Acceptance
